Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation, and data infrastructure at scale.

You will own CI/CD for AWS Glue ETL, manage infrastructure with Terraform or CDK, and build observability for data pipelines, while collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, and security teams. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in DevOps or platform engineering, deep AWS experience, and strong

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering with at least 2 years in data engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager, and CloudFormation/CDK.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services: Glue ETL jobs, Athena workgroups, and S3 lifecycle.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and promotion of data infrastructure.
• Build and manage AWS-based infrastructure using IaC (Terraform/CDK).
• Own the observability stack for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and reusable templates for production pipelines.
• Manage container and compute infrastructure (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Design and operate workflow orchestration (MWAA/Airflow, Step Functions).
• Build and maintain Glue ETL jobs for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
• Advance security: Secrets Manager, IAM least privilege, network segmentation.
