AgileEngine is seeking a Database Administrator to manage, secure, and tune high-availability production databases in a hands-on role. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability, security, and performance of critical data systems across the stack.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of hands-on DBA experience with SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL, plus AWS RDS/Aurora, Terraform, and Kafka administration. Strong performance tuning and disaster-recovery skills are essential.

Formación

• 3–4 years of hands-on database administration experience.
• Experience with SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS RDS/Aurora and security/compliance practices.
• Programming in PowerShell or Python.
• IaC tooling such as Terraform.
• Kafka administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong performance analysis and tuning skills.
• Proven collaboration with engineering teams under tight deadlines.
• Experience administering high-availability production systems.
• Disaster recovery planning experience.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain high availability of production databases and ensure performance.
