AgileEngine is seeking a mid‑level Database Administrator to manage, secure, and tune high‑availability production databases. You will work closely with engineering teams on performance, security, and reliability, focusing on SQL Server, Aurora PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure.

The role demands 3–4 years of hands‑on DBA experience, proficiency with PowerShell or Python, Terraform, and Confluent Kafka, plus upper‑intermediate English. Remote/office flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands‑on DBA experience.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• AWS, RDS and Aurora experience.
• PowerShell or Python programming.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Kafka (Confluent Kafka) experience.
• Performance analysis and tuning.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilités

• Maintain high availability of production database systems and ensure performance.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery with zero data loss.
• Ensure security and access control for databases.
• Analyze and tune database performance and diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with engineers on system design and optimization.
• Hands-on administration of data systems supporting the website.
• Maintain composure in high‑pressure situations.
