AgileEngine is seeking a Database Administrator to manage, secure, and tune high-availability production databases. You will work closely with engineering teams in a highly technical environment, focusing on database administration, performance, security, and reliability.

The role requires 3–4 years of hands-on DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS RDS/Aurora, PowerShell or Python, Terraform, Confluent Kafka, and upper-intermediate English.

Formación

• 3–4 years of hands-on DBA experience.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS RDS and Aurora.
• Programming experience with PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience with Kafka (Confluent Kafka).
• Extensive experience with performance analysis and tuning.
• English level: upper-intermediate.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain high availability of production database systems and ensure performance.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery with zero data loss goals.
• Ensure security compliance and access control for databases.
• Analyze and tune database performance and diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on design and optimization.
• Hands-on administration of data systems supporting applications.
