AgileEngine is seeking a Database Administrator to manage high-availability production databases, focusing on performance, security, and reliability. You will work closely with engineering teams in a hands-on role, ensuring data integrity and system resilience.

The ideal candidate brings 3–4 years of DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL, proficiency in PowerShell or Python, and familiarity with Terraform and Confluent Kafka, plus upper-intermediate English.

3–4 years of hands-on DBA experience.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
Experience with AWS, RDS and Aurora.
Programming experience with PowerShell or Python.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
Experience with Kafka (Confluent Kafka).
Strong performance analysis and tuning skills.
Experience in high-availability production systems and disaster recovery.
Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

Maintain high availability of production databases and ensure strong performance.
Plan and execute disaster recovery to prevent data loss.
Secure databases, manage access control, and follow security protocols.
Analyze and tune database performance and diagnose issues.
Collaborate with engineers on design reviews, requirements and delivery timelines.
Operate hands-on in a highly technical environment supporting data systems.
