AgileEngine is seeking a Database Administrator to manage, secure, and tune high-availability production databases. You will work closely with engineering teams in a hands-on role focusing on database administration, performance, security, and reliability.

Requirements include 3–4 years of hands-on DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS RDS/Aurora, PowerShell or Python, Terraform, Confluent Kafka, and an upper-intermediate English level.

Formación

• 3–4 years hands-on DBA experience.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS, RDS and Aurora.
• Programming with PowerShell or Python.
• IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Kafka (Confluent Kafka) administration and troubleshooting.
• Performance analysis and tuning.
• Experience with high-availability production systems.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain high availability of production database systems and optimize performance.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery to prevent data loss.
• Ensure database security and access control per security protocols.
• Analyze, diagnose, and tune database performance issues.
• Collaborate with engineering on design reviews and support.
• Operate hands-on in a highly technical data environment.
• Stay composed and effective under pressure.
