AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and improve a Snowflake-based data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. The role emphasizes production reliability, data quality, and cross-team collaboration, with LatAm coverage and on-call responsibilities across time zones.

You will build robust pipelines using dbt and Python, operate ingestion tools like Fivetran or HVR, and partner with Cloud/DevOps on Kubernetes workloads to ensure scalable data delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in data engineering or data platform roles.
• Deep Snowflake expertise: data layer design, performance, troubleshooting.
• Advanced SQL and strong dbt experience for transforms and lineage.
• Experience with Fivetran or HVR and ingestion pipelines.
• Proficient in Python for automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Data Platform during LatAm coverage window.
• Operate and optimize Snowflake production and non-production environments.
• Manage data access with least-privilege controls and audit readiness.
• Oversee data ingestion pipelines across Fivetran, HVR, and custom code.
• Build and maintain dbt models across RAW, CURATED, and CONSUMPTION layers.
• Support S3 data-lake operations and downstream Snowflake workloads.
• Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps for Argo Workflows and Kubernetes workloads.
• Define data quality and observability standards with robust checks.
• Lead major data incidents and drive post-incident improvements.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders across teams.
