AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to operate and improve a Snowflake-based data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will own the Data Platform during LatAm coverage, manage ingestion pipelines, and build robust dbt models across RAW, CURATED, and CONSUMPTION layers.

You will collaborate with Cloud/DevOps, Analytics, Security, and business stakeholders while mentoring engineers and leading incident resolution.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
• Strong Snowflake experience including design, performance, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced SQL and dbt for transformation, testing, and lineage.
• Experience with managed ingestion tools like Fivetran or HVR.
• Hands-on AWS data services, especially S3 and event-based ingestion.
• Orchestration with Argo Workflows on Kubernetes; familiarity with similar tools.
• Python or similar language for data engineering and operational tooling.
• Understanding of data modeling, schema evolution, and data quality.
• Observability, logging and incident-management for production data platforms.
• Proven ability to lead incidents and drive preventive improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Data Platform during LatAm coverage window.
• Operate and optimize Snowflake production and non-production environments and related pipelines.
• Manage data access with least-privilege and audit-ready practices.
• Maintain data ingestion across Fivetran, HVR, and custom pipelines with monitoring.
• Build and maintain dbt models across RAW, CURATED, CONSUMPTION with CI/CD.
• Support AWS S3 data-lake operations and downstream Snowflake workloads.
• Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps on Argo Workflows and Kubernetes-based workloads.
• Define data quality and observability standards and implement checks.
• Expand end-to-end monitoring and lineage with Synq, dbt, and Splunk.
• Lead major data incidents and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrences.
• Support Tableau Cloud operations where data connectivity or refresh issues arise.
• Drive standardization, automation, and cost optimization across the platform.
• Create runbooks, procedures, and knowledge transfer materials; mentor peers.
