AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to operate and improve a Snowflake-based enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will own the data platform during the LatAm coverage window and lead complex incidents.

You will build reliable pipelines, manage ingestions with Fivetran/HVR, and ensure data quality across RAW, CURATED, and CONSUMPTION layers while collaborating with Cloud/DevOps and analytics teams.

Formación

• 5+ years in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
• Strong Snowflake expertise: design, performance, access patterns.
• Advanced SQL and dbt for transformation and testing.
• Experience with Fivetran or HVR ingestion tools.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.
• Experience with AWS data services and S3.
• Knowledge of Argo Workflows and Kubernetes.
• Data modeling, schema evolution, and data quality controls.
• Observability, logging, and incident-management practices.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior ownership for the Data Platform during LatAm window.
• Operate Snowflake production and non-production environments; monitor performance.
• Manage data access with least-privilege and audit-ready practices.
• Oversee ingestion pipelines with Fivetran, HVR, and custom code.
• Design and maintain pipelines and dbt models across RAW, CURATED, CONSUMPTION.
• Support S3 data-lake workflows and downstream Snowflake workloads.
• Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps for Argo/Kubernetes workloads.
• Define data quality and observability standards and runbooks.
• Lead major incidents, RCA, and preventive actions.
• Support Tableau Cloud data connectivity and refreshes when needed.
• Drive automation, reliability, and cost improvements across platform.
• Document architecture, ownership, and recovery procedures.
