Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to operate and improve a Snowflake-based data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will own day-to-day data platform operations and lead complex incidents.

You will optimize Snowflake environments, manage ingestion with Fivetran/HVR, implement dbt models, and collaborate with Cloud/DevOps for Argo on Kubernetes. Strong English communication required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
• Strong Snowflake development, data-layer design, and production troubleshooting.
• Advanced SQL and dbt for transformations, testing, and lineage.
• Experience with Fivetran or HVR and custom ingestion pipelines.
• Hands-on AWS data services experience (S3, ingestion patterns).
• Experience with Argo Workflows on Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Knowledge of data modeling, schema evolution, and data quality.
• Experience with observability, logging, and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Data Platform during LatAm coverage.
• Operate and optimize Snowflake production & non-prod environments.
• Administer data access with least-privilege and audit-ready controls.
• Operate and improve data ingestion via Fivetran, HVR, and custom pipelines.
• Design and maintain pipelines and dbt models across RAW, CURATED, CONSUMPTION.
• Support S3 data-lake operations and downstream Snowflake workloads.
• Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps on Argo Workflows & Kubernetes workloads.
• Define data quality and observability standards.
