AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to operate and improve a Snowflake-based data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will own and optimize end-to-end data pipelines, ensure data quality, and drive performance improvements across RAW, CURATED, and CONSUMPTION layers.

You'll work with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran/HVR, and AWS S3, while guiding incident resolution and mentoring engineers. Strong English communication and LatAm coverage readiness are required.

Formación

• 5+ years of data engineering or data platform experience.
• Snowflake design, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting.
• Advanced SQL and dbt for transformations, testing, documentation, lineage, and deployment.
• Experience with Fivetran or HVR and custom ingestion pipelines.
• Hands-on with AWS data services, especially S3 and event-based ingestion.
• Orchestrating data workloads with Argo Workflows on Kubernetes or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Data Platform during LatAm coverage, handling day-to-day ops and escalations.
• Operate Snowflake production and non-production environments, including config, performance, and lifecycle management.
• Administer data access with least-privilege controls and audit-ready practices.
• Manage ingestion across Fivetran, HVR, and custom pipelines, including schema changes and failure recovery.
• Design, build, and maintain dbt models across RAW, CURATED, and CONSUMPTION layers with tests and lineage.
• Support AWS S3 data-lake workflows and coordinate with downstream Snowflake workloads.
• Coordinate Argo Workflows and Kubernetes-hosted data workloads with Cloud/DevOps teams.
• Define data quality and observability standards, including freshness and referential integrity checks.
• Lead or contribute to major data incidents with root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Analytics, Security, Governance, and stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
