The role sits within a real estate investment firm that has built a sophisticated data platform on Snowflake, integrating 40+ data sources to stabilize the environment and automate manual work. You will work closely with the client’s technical and business teams, diagnose platform strengths, and push for higher

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering with production ownership.
• Hands-on Snowflake: sizing, cost management, MERGE, streams, tasks.
• Experience diagnosing and fixing pipelines you didn’t write.
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines across many sources.
• Strong data modeling and lineage control.
• Advanced SQL with window functions and performance tuning.
• Experience with dbt and an orchestrator (Airflow).
• Ability to communicate with business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize the data platform and improve reporting reliability.
• Automate manual data workflows to accelerate decisions.
• Collaborate with client’s tech and business teams; assess platform strength.
• Provide code reviews, documentation, and raise standards.
• Own end-to-end delivery from design through deployment and support.
