Job summary

N-iX is seeking a Data Engineer to power our multi-country cloud analytics platform across Latin America. You will balance hands-on engineering with data quality standards while building scalable ELT/ETL pipelines in Snowflake using dbt and Python.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in data engineering, strong SQL and cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure), and a collaborative mindset working with BI, data science and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or related experience.
• 3+ years hands-on data engineering or data warehousing.
• Strong SQL, Python, dbt and Snowflake exposure.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and data quality testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines and semantic models in Snowflake using dbt.
• Enforce automated data quality checks and testing frameworks.
• Maintain Git version history and integrate CI/CD for data tasks.
• Monitor multi-country ingestion pipelines and resolve incidents.
• Collaborate with BI, Data Science and business teams on requirements.
• Document data models, dictionaries, lineage and cataloging standards.
