AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own data pipelines and analytical architecture for a high-volume marketing analytics platform.

You will steer partitioning strategy, file formats, and near-real-time processing on an S3-backed data lake, while designing ETL pipelines and governing Airflow-based DAGs. You will lead a team of senior developers, drive AWS data stack adoption (Athena, EKS), enforce code quality, and collaborate with DevOps to meet functional and non-functional

Formación

• 7+ years of engineering experience with ETL and large-volume data systems.
• Hands-on OLAP architecture experience with Athena/Presto/BigQuery, etc.
• Experience designing data lakes on object storage (S3) with Parquet/ORC.
• Deep DAG/workflow orchestration experience; Airflow preferred.
• Experience with AWS data stack and DevOps collaboration.
• Backend in Python (FastAPI/Flask).
• REST and GraphQL familiarity.
• Docker and PostgreSQL for transactional layer.
• Comfort with Mac/Linux terminal environments.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools responsibly.
• Ability to define problems in ambiguous contexts.

Responsabilidades

• Design and own ETL pipelines at scale.
• Decide partitioning, file formats and near-real-time processing for OLAP data.
• Design and manage Airflow DAGs and pipeline structure.
• Lead AWS data stack usage with S3, Athena, and EKS with DevOps.
• Review PRs and enforce coding standards.
• Mentor senior developers and align with engineering practices.
