AgileEngine is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own the data pipeline and analytical architecture for a high-volume marketing analytics platform. You’ll shape partitioning, file formats, and near-real-time processing for OLAP workloads on an S3-backed data lake, design ETL pipelines, and define DAG-based orchestration with Airflow.

You will lead senior developers, drive the AWS data stack (Athena, EKS), and ensure code quality with a pragmatic, autonomous approach in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 7+ years of engineering experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines for large-volume data systems.
• Experience with OLAP-style analytics architectures and at least one major engine (Athena, Trino/Presto, BigQuery, Snowflake, Spark SQL).
• Hands-on data lake design on object storage with Parquet/ORC and partitioning strategies; Athena a plus.
• Strong DAG-based workflow experience (Airflow) or equivalent orchestrator.
• Proficiency with AWS data stack and DevOps collaboration.
• Backend Python development and API exposure (REST/GraphQL).
• Comfort with Linux/macOS terminal.
• Ability to work in ambiguous problems and lead architectural discussions.

Responsabilidades

• Design and own ETL pipelines for scalable data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Make architectural calls on partitioning, file formats, and near-real-time processing for OLAP workloads.
• Own the design of Airflow DAGs and pipeline orchestration in collaboration with DevOps.
• Drive AWS data stack usage (S3, Athena, EKS) and align with infra requirements.
• Review PRs and enforce code quality.
• Guide senior developers and enforce engineering practices.
