AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own the data pipeline and analytical architecture for a large-volume marketing analytics platform.

You will shape partitioning strategy, file formats, and near-real-time processing on an S3-backed data lake, and define DAG-based orchestration with Airflow while guiding senior developers and maintaining high code quality. The role requires autonomy with strong problem-framing, context gathering, and constraint identification to define the right

Formación

• 7+ years of engineering experience with ETL pipelines and large-volume data systems.
• Hands-on OLAP-style architecture experience with data lakes and serverless engines.
• Experience designing data lakes on object storage (S3 or equivalent) and partitioning strategies.
• Deep familiarity with DAG-style workflow definitions, preferably Airflow.
• Experience with AWS data stack (S3, Athena, EKS) and DevOps collaboration.
• Backend proficiency in Python (FastAPI or Flask).
• Comfort with REST and GraphQL.
• Docker and PostgreSQL for transactional/app layers.

Responsabilidades

• Design and own ETL pipelines for scalable data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Make architectural calls on partitioning, file formats, schema/data-type strategy, for OLAP workloads.
• Own the design of scheduled batch workflows (DAGs) in Airflow, driving structure and dependencies.
• Drive AWS data stack usage and collaborate with DevOps to refine requirements.
• Review PRs and enforce code quality standards.
• Guide senior developers and align with established engineering practices.
