AgileEngine is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own the data pipeline and analytical architecture for a large-volume marketing analytics platform. You will shape partitioning, file formats, schema design, and near-real-time processing on an S3-backed data lake, define DAG-based orchestration with Airflow, and lead senior developers while upholding code quality.

The role requires autonomy, strong problem framing, and collaboration with DevOps to meet non-functional requirements.

Formación

• 7+ years engineering experience with ETL pipelines and large-scale data systems.
• Hands-on OLAP-style architecture with diverse tools (Athena/BigQuery/Snowflake).
• Experience designing data lakes on object storage (S3) and partitioning strategies.
• Deep DAG/workflow orchestration knowledge (Airflow or comparable).
• AWS data stack experience and collaboration with DevOps.
• Backend proficiency in Python; REST/GraphQL familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Design and own ETL pipelines for big data from internal dbs and APIs.
• Make architectural calls on partitioning, file formats, and near-real-time processing.
• Own batch DAG design on Airflow, with defined structure and triggering strategies.
• Drive AWS data stack usage and partner with DevOps on requirements.
• Review PRs and enforce coding standards.
• Guide senior developers and align with engineering practices.
