AgileEngine is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own the data pipeline and analytical architecture for a large-volume marketing analytics platform. You will decide on partitioning, file formats, and near-real-time processing for OLAP workloads on an S3-backed data lake, and lead a team of senior developers while upholding code quality standards.

• 7+ years of engineering experience designing ETL pipelines for large data systems.
• Hands-on OLAP data architecture experience with Athena/Presto/BigQuery/Snowflake.
• Experience with object-storage data lakes (S3) and Parquet/ORC formats.
• Strong DAG/workflow orchestration experience, ideally with Airflow.
• Proficient in Python (FastAPI or Flask) and PostgreSQL.
• Comfort with REST and GraphQL; Linux/macOS terminal work.
• Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous, ad hoc problems.
• Upper-Intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Own ETL pipelines design for data extraction, transformation, and validation at scale.
• Make architectural calls on partitioning and file formats for OLAP data systems.
• Design and govern Airflow DAGs and pipeline orchestration strategies.
• Drive AWS data stack usage and collaborate with DevOps on requirements.

• Lead senior developers and align with engineering practices.
