Oracle, a leader in AI and cloud solutions, is seeking a Datacenter Services Operations professional to identify opportunities to upgrade server components, validate cabling, monitor ticket queues, and mentor technicians in hardware maintenance and network configuration.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs/MOPs, safety and compliance, and strong collaboration with project teams and vendors to ensure resiliency, reliability, and availability of critical infrastructure across customer sites.

Formación

• Experience in datacenter operations and change control processes.
• Ability to mentor junior technicians and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with SOPs and MOPs in data center environments.

Responsabilidades

• Identifies opportunities for other team members to work with servers and main hardware to ensure efficient performance for its entire lifecycle.
• Guides and coaches less experienced technicians on best practices for power distribution units and replacement hardware, removing and troubleshooting hardware without disturbing critical infrastructure.
• Guidates and instructs less experienced technicians on best practices for implementing network communications and solutions, signing off on client configurations.
• Validates cabling, checking network environment build and connectivity is established, verifying devices are connected and error free.
• Monitors and assigns work in ticketing environment, mentoring less experienced technicians or implementing technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system within SLAs.
• Oversees adherence to SOPs/MOPs when performing tasks, ensuring work aligns with site rules and vendor requirements.
• Trains advance repair techniques that align with corporate objectives and adheres to SOPs and MOPs for change control processes.
• Leads collaboration with project teams/colocation partners to test and validate installations, coordinating site utility requirements.
