Acciona It is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable distributed systems using Java and Python, with a strong ownership mindset. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems while collaborating with a highly technical and fast-moving team.

The ideal candidate has extensive backend experience, with 8+ years, and hands-on AI/LLM development alongside Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.

Formación

• 8+ years of software/backend experience.
• 5+ years in Python, building production-grade backends.
• Strong Java experience.
• Hands-on AI/LLM-based application development.
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Experience with databases, message queues, and data pipelines.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Ownership mindset and ability to thrive in startup/fast-paced settings.
• Advanced English level.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems with databases, APIs, queues, and data pipelines.
• Own features from design to monitoring and optimization.
• Build production-ready systems focusing on reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements.
• Improve performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring quality.
• Participate in architectural discussions and key technical decisions.
• Push for continuous process, tooling, and standards improvements.
