Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build regression automation scripts, run smoke and regression testing, and document feature behavior with clear test results.

You will collaborate with product and development teams, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and participate in on-call rotation while applying AI tools to improve QA outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual testing
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile
• Experience testing Electron and React Native apps on real devices
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered apps is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites
