AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to lead desktop and mobile test automation while owning manual testing for our apps. You will implement tests, integrate into CI/CD, fix flaky tests, and collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high quality.

The role emphasizes hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing, plus risk-based coverage. Flexible schedule with remote and on-site options is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
