Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing, building robust regression suites and hands-on validation across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases and maintain test automation within CI/CD pipelines.

The role emphasizes a shift-left quality approach, AI tool usage in QA, and participation in on-call rotations to support ongoing product stability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual testing.
• Experience writing Gherkin scenarios for BDD.
• Experience in CI/CD and automation maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
