Job summary
AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills and hands-on manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. The role emphasizes building regression automation, CI/CD integration, and rigorous test strategy to ensure product quality.
You'll collaborate with product and engineering teams, contribute to testability improvements, and participate in on-call rotations. This is a flexible, remote-friendly role with opportunities for professional growth and exposure
Qualifications
- 4+ years in QA automation and manual testing.
- Experience writing tests with Gherkin for BDD.
- Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Proficiency with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO/Appium for mobile.
- Experience with Electron and React Native apps is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
- Manually test software for validation against defined criteria.
- Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests as needed.
- Record detailed documentation of feature behavior and test results.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to improve testability and acceptance criteria.
