AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation for desktop and mobile apps, while also performing manual testing for validation. You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, run diverse test types, and document results to support reliable software delivery.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product and customer teams, maintaining test data, and addressing risk areas to improve overall quality. A strong automation background and hands-on testing are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software QA and automated testing.
• Experience writing and using Gherkin for BDD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Holistic quality mindset and attention to detail.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.
• Degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Log pass/fail conditions and relate failures to bugs.
• Identify and elevate quality risks to the product or process.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality across SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback into testing.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimations for planning.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
