Job summary
AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. Build regression automation scripts that support core app functionality and manually validate software against defined criteria to ensure accuracy.
You will execute smoke, regression, integration, and performance tests, record detailed feature behavior, and correlate failures to bugs.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
- 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
- Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
- Experience building Agentic quality engineering skills.
Responsibilities
- Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
- Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
- Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
- Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
- Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
