Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build regression scripts, validate features, and work with CI/CD to ensure fast, reliable releases.

Responsibilities include debugging flaky tests, test data management, and collaborating with product and development teams. AI QA tools usage and on-call rotation are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience using CI/CD pipelines, e.g., GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with Playwright, WebdriverIO and mobile testing tools.
• Experience testing Electron and React Native apps on real devices.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
• Conduct manual validation and exploratory testing based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance testing and document results.
• Raise defects with clear reproduction steps and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality across SDLC and releases.
• Engage with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback into testing.
• Contribute to testability improvements with developers and product.
• Manage test data, environments, and CI/CD integration.
• Maintain automated quality practices using GitHub for repositories.
