Job summary

PetDesk is seeking a Sr. Support Specialist, Phones for a remote contract. You will join the Phones Support team to handle complex VoIP issues for multi-site clients.

Diagnose SIP/VoIP problems, administer PBX configurations, guide clients remotely, document solutions, and maintain SLA adherence. You must provide your own equipment and work during North American hours. Fluency in English is required; submit your resume in English.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in technical VoIP/PBX support.
• Experience with multi-site or enterprise-scale PBX deployments.
• Solid knowledge of SIP, RTP/RTCP, PBX call routing and familiar VoIP failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve SIP/VoIP connectivity issues across 15+ client tickets per day.
• Administer and troubleshoot PBX systems at the call-flow and trunk-configuration level.
• Remotely diagnose network-level issues at client sites and guide non-technical staff through resolution steps.
• Provision and configure IP phones (Yealink, Grandstream, Polycom-class devices) for new and existing client accounts.
• Manage and resolve client-facing tickets in the ticketing system daily, ensuring SLA adherence.
• Document recurring issues and solutions in the internal knowledge base.
