Job summary

PetDesk is seeking a Sr. Support Specialist, Phones on a contract basis to join the Phones Support team and tackle complex VoIP/PBX issues for multi-site clients. You will document solutions to enable the wider team to scale.

This 100% remote role is based in Latin America, with availability aligned to North American business hours. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required, and contractors must provide their own equipment and reliable internet.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of technical VoIP/PBX support experience with multi-site deployments.
• Solid knowledge of SIP, RTP/RTCP, PBX routing, and call quality issues.
• Fundamental networking knowledge: subnets, VLANs, QoS, packet capture.
• Hands-on provisioning of IP phones across vendors.
• Excellent written English for client communications.
• Proven ownership to drive issues to resolution with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve SIP/VoIP connectivity issues and 15+ client tickets daily.
• Administer and troubleshoot PBX systems at call-flow and trunk levels.
• Remotely diagnose network issues at client sites and guide non-technical staff.
• Provision and configure IP phones for new and existing accounts.
• Manage tickets, maintain SLA, and communicate clearly in writing.
• Document recurring issues and solutions for the knowledge base.
