Job summary

PetDesk is seeking a Sr. Support Specialist, Phones for a 100% remote contract role in LATAM with North American business hours. You will handle complex VoIP/SIP issues, PBX configuration, and remote diagnostics for multi-site clients.

Strong English written/spoken communication is required and contractors provide their own gear. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documenting solutions, maintaining SLA adherence, and guiding non-technical staff.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in technical VoIP/PBX support.
• SIP, RTP/RTCP, and PBX call routing/configuration.
• Networking basics including subnetting, VLANs, QoS.
• Provisioning IP phones across multiple vendors.
• Strong written English for client communications.
• Demonstrated ownership to resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve SIP/VoIP connectivity issues across client tickets.
• Administer and troubleshoot PBX systems at call-flow and trunk level.
• Remotely diagnose network issues and guide clients via phone/screen share.
• Configure IP phones for new and existing accounts.
• Manage tickets daily with SLA adherence and clear communication.
• Document recurring issues and solutions in the knowledge base.
