Job summary

PetDesk is seeking a Sr. Support Specialist, Phones for a 100% remote contract based in Latin America, aligned with North American business hours. Contractors must provide their own equipment and will manage SIP/VoIP issues, PBX configurations, and client communications daily.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues across 15+ tickets, provisioning IP phones, remote diagnostics, and maintaining knowledge base documentation. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of technical VoIP/PBX support with multi-site deployments.
• Strong SIP, RTP/RTCP, PBX routing, codec call quality.
• Networking knowledge incl. subnets/VLANs, QoS, packet capture.
• Hands-on IP phones provisioning across multiple vendors.
• Strong written English for client-facing work.
• Demonstrated ownership to drive complex issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve SIP/VoIP connectivity issues across 15+ tickets daily.
• Administer and troubleshoot PBX call-flow and trunk configurations.
• Remotely diagnose network issues and guide clients through resolution.
• Provision and configure IP phones for client accounts.
• Manage client-facing tickets with SLA adherence and clear communication.
• Document recurring issues and solutions in the knowledge base.
