Accenture Argentina seeks an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to provide specialized US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll support. The role demands genuine accounting judgment, independent investigation, and clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Schedule includes 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET coverage with shifts overlapping US business hours. Remote work from Argentina with potential client-specific shifts and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting and taxation.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and customer-facing support.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain complex topics to nontechnical customers.
• Comfortable in fast-paced tech environments; able to learn new systems including proprietary platforms and AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated and directly assigned accounting and tax support tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and accounting transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, tax notices, filing status questions, and tax return questions within scope.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate technical findings clearly through Zendesk, email-style ticket responses, and scheduled phone support.
• Independently investigate issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with internal specialists when necessary.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows and knowledge resources.
• Adapt to new internal systems as the client transitions from Zendesk.
• Learn and work with proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.
