Accenture Argentina seeks an experienced accounting professional to provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. This role requires genuine technical accounting judgment and independent issue resolution.

Schedule features coverage from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET with US business hours overlap; remote in Argentina with staggered shifts and client-specific schedules.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to explain complex accounting and tax topics to nontechnical customers.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax support tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, filing status questions, and tax return questions.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate findings via Zendesk, email-style responses, and scheduled phone support.
• Independently identify root causes and coordinate with internal specialists.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows and knowledge resources.
• Learn and work with proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.
