South Offices is seeking a remote Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to support U.S.-based clients on EST hours. You will prepare financials, review journal entries, and assist with U.S. tax returns while coordinating with the U.S. team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years accounting experience, ideally supporting U.S.-based clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general tax preparation concepts.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Able to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Record and review adjusting journal entries.
• Support preparation of U.S. individual and business tax returns.
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate closely with the U.S.-based team for review and sign-off.
