Digital Executive is seeking a remote Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to support a U.S.-based client. Work hours align with U.S. Eastern Time, enabling collaboration with the US team from anywhere.

The role focuses on preparing financial statements, tax returns, reconciliations, and month/year-end close. A strong English proficiency and independence in a remote environment are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally supporting U.S.-based clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general tax preparation concepts.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Able to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Record and review adjusting journal entries.
• Support preparation of U.S. individual and business tax returns.
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with the U.S.-based team for review and sign-off.
