Gbs Group is seeking a remote Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to support a U.S.-based client, working hours aligned with U.S. Eastern Time. The role focuses on financial statement preparation, journal entries, and tax return support, with close collaboration to the U.S.-based team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, strong English skills, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting during EST business hours.

Formación

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with U.S.-based clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and basic tax concepts.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Able to work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Must align with U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare financial statements and schedules.
• Record and review adjusting journal entries.
• Support preparation of U.S. individual and business tax returns.
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with the U.S.-based team for review and sign-off.
