Digital Executive is seeking a remote Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to support a U.S.-based client, with work hours aligned to U.S. Eastern Time. This fully remote role offers competitive compensation and long-term growth within a firm investing in a stable team.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, recording adjusting entries, assisting with U.S. tax returns, and performing reconciliations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally supporting U.S.-based clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax preparation concepts.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Able to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Responsabilités

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
• Record and review adjusting journal entries
• Support preparation of U.S. individual and business tax returns
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Collaborate closely with the U.S.-based team for review and sign-off
