TalentCross is seeking a remote Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to support a U.S.-based client, operating on U.S. Eastern Time hours. This fully remote role requires reliable, self-directed work and strong accounting knowledge.

You will prepare financial statements, support U.S. tax returns, perform reconciliations, and collaborate with the U.S. team to ensure accurate closes. The role offers competitive compensation and long-term growth within a global firm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally with U.S.-based clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax concepts.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Fully remote environment with U.S. Eastern Time hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Record and review adjusting journal entries.
• Support preparation of U.S. individual and business tax returns.
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with the U.S.-based team for review and sign-off.
