Job summary

BlueTuskr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a fully remote role servicing a US-based higher education marketing agency. You will be the technical SEO expert across multiple partner accounts, driving audits, specs, and fixes while building Claude-based tools to automate auditing, reporting, and QA.

You’ll work with the SEO Lead and support the Executive Director of SEO, coordinating across accounts and designing scalable systems to improve visibility and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO, ideally at an agency or across multiple sites at once.
• Deep hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Strong working knowledge of WordPress: themes, plugins, redirects, schema; able to spec fixes precisely.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts via audits, specs, and verifications.
• Run audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, redirects, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
• Write dev-ready specs and follow through to fixes and verification.
• Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, redirects, and schema.
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 to catch issues before clients.
• Own AI search readiness for AEO/GEO: crawler access, structured data, entity optimization.
• Build scalable systems for the SEO service and Claude-based workflows.
• Translate team standards into reusable systems and train the team.
