The Technical SEO Lead will own the technical SEO across a portfolio of higher education partner accounts for a U.S.-based marketing agency. This remote role emphasizes improving visibility in traditional search, answer engines, and AI-driven search while building Claude-based tools to automate audits and reporting.

You will write developer-ready specs, run audits, and guide fixes across WordPress setups and structured data, collaborating closely with the SEO Lead and executive director.

Formación

• 5+ years in SEO with at least 3 focused on technical SEO
• Proven ability to uncover high-impact issues and drive fixes across multiple sites
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
• Strong knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins, redirects, and schema
• Experience building Claude-based agents and AI-assisted workflows
• Clear written communication and ability to write actionable specs

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts and run comprehensive audits
• Write dev-ready specs and follow through on fixes until deployment
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 to catch drops and indexing issues
• Design Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, QA, and reporting
• Build scalable systems for the agency's SEO service and content production workflows
• Join client calls to explain deep technical topics and defend recommendations
