Job summary

Ryz Labs is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a remote role with a US-based marketing agency serving higher education and nonprofits. You will own technical SEO across client accounts, run comprehensive audits, and craft developer-ready specs while building Claude-based tools to automate audits, QA, and content production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO
• Track record of uncovering high-impact issues and driving fixes
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
• Strong working knowledge of WordPress, themes, plugins, redirects, and schema
• Advanced hands-on experience with Claude, including building agents and AI-assisted workflows
• Clear written communication - can write specs for developers and recommendations for clients

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts
• Run audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, CWV, structured data, redirects, and broken links
• Prioritize issues by impact and defend calls
• Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams
• Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, plugin redirects, schema
• Monitor GSC and GA4 to catch drops, errors, indexing problems
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) including structured data and content structure
• Build systems that scale the SEO service
• Design Claude-based tools, agents, and workflows for audits, prioritization, reporting, and QA
• Build content production systems to convert briefs into drafts
• Translate standards into reusable systems
• Connect GSC, GA4, crawl exports, and Ahrefs/Semrush into workflows
• Document each system, train the team, measure time saved or results improved
• Support the team and client success
• Join client calls for deep technical topics
• Evaluate emerging search technologies and recommend tools and workflows
