Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to manage licensing and asset records across Latin America and other regions. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and publishers to ensure accurate licensing decisions, timely service delivery, compliance and cost optimization.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, strong knowledge of licensing models, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-publisher environment with bilingual English and Spanish

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience with licensing responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance and audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes and adapt to different publishers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to licensing details.
• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while improving SAM processes.
