Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its global SAM team. You will manage licensing across a large software portfolio, interpret terms and entitlements, and drive optimization and compliance across regional and international stakeholders.

The role requires hands‑on SAM experience, knowledge of various licensing models and strong collaboration with IT, Procurement, Finance and publishers. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM licensing experience.
• Understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to licensing details.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle with accuracy and timeliness.
• Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across multiple publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset records including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors to resolve licensing needs.
