Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team. This hybrid role blends platform engineering with data infrastructure, owning reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering or SRE.
• Hands-on data engineering experience is required.
• Deep knowledge of AWS core services and tooling.
• Proficient in IaC and CI/CD best practices.
• Strong ability to translate ops concerns into trade-offs.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infra.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / CDK).
• Own observability stack: metrics, logs, alerts, SLA compliance.
• Develop DataOps self-service tooling and templates.
• Manage containers and compute infra (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Operate workflow orchestration (MWAA/Airflow, Step Functions).
• Develop Glue ETL jobs for large-scale data ingestion.
• Enforce security best practices across the data platform.
