Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Marketing-oriented) to centralize data from paid media and CRM into a single source of truth. You will own ingestion pipelines, CRM connections, and the warehouse in BigQuery, building modular dbt/Dataform transformations and performant BI views for Looker Studio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering in marketing or agency settings.
• Strong SQL skills and BigQuery experience.
• Proficient in dbt or Dataform for modular pipelines.
• Python proficiency for API connections and automation.
• Experience with CRM data flows (Salesforce, HubSpot, Slate).
• Deep understanding of marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC).
• Proficient in Git and multi-client data environments.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion & pipeline architecture from ads platforms to warehouse.
• Own CRM integration and reliable data connections.
• Own the data warehouse in BigQuery with efficient schemas.
• Own transformation & mapping using modular dbt/Dataform pipelines.
• Own CI/CD & data segregation with GitHub Actions and testing.
• Enable the reporting layer for Looker Studio dashboards and Sheets reports.
• Drive data quality, monitor pipelines and resolve data issues.
