Job summary

Encora Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on marketing analytics to unify paid media and CRM data into a single source of truth. You will own end-to-end pipelines from ad accounts and CRM to Adverity, into a BigQuery warehouse, and out to Looker Studio dashboards and Sheets reports.

The role emphasizes scalable, compliant data architecture, CI/CD, and cross-team collaboration. Remote-friendly with education marketing experience valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on data engineering in marketing/agency.
• Experience configuring datastreams, transformations, and destinations in Adverity or comparable ETL platforms (Fivetran, Supermetrics, Funnel).
• SQL proficiency in BigQuery for transformation, partitioning, and modeling.
• Expertise with dbt or Dataform, modular, version-controlled pipelines.
• Python for custom API connections and pipeline automation.
• CRM data flows with Slate, Salesforce, and/or HubSpot.
• Understanding marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC) and paid platform schemas; optimize Looker Studio.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion & pipeline architecture for paid media to Adverity and warehouse.
• Own CRM integration to ensure lead data flows into the warehouse.
• Own the data warehouse in BigQuery with efficient schemas and storage strategy.
• Own transformation pipelines using dbt/Dataform with clear naming conventions.
• Maintain CI/CD and data segregation across multi-client environments.
• Enable the reporting layer for Looker Studio dashboards and automated Sheets reports.
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot pipeline issues across source/warehouse/BI layers.
