Job summary

The Ward Law Group is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Lien Resolution Associate to negotiate hospital liens and medical balances, helping move settled cases toward disbursement.

This independent contractor remote role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, the ability to manage a high-volume caseload, and experience with Litify or similar legal case management software.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of plaintiff personal injury reductions experience.
• Direct experience negotiating hospital/medical balances.
• Experience managing a high-volume reductions caseload from balance verification to closing.
• Bilingual English and Spanish with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with legal case management software; Litify preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate hospital liens and medical provider balances under attorney supervision.
• Review medical bills, verify balances, obtain supporting docs.
• Submit reduction requests, follow up, and secure written agreements.
• Maintain records of balances, negotiations, and case status in Litify.
• Coordinate with attorneys and closing staff to resolve items and prepare files for settlement disbursement.
• Meet targets for reductions, turnaround times, productivity and accuracy.
• Refer complex matters to the appropriate attorney.
