Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills and hands-on manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. Build and maintain regression tests, integrate into CI/CD, and ensure test reliability.

You will investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and collaborate with developers, product teams, and customer-facing groups to improve testability and acceptance criteria. Remote-friendly with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years of automated testing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Holistic quality mindset with focus on product quality.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy per criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, and integration tests; assess performance.
• Record detailed feature behavior documentation.
• Record pass/fail criteria and link failures to bugs.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality through SDLC.
• Coordinate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback.
• Assist in estimation and planning for testing efforts.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repos and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotations.
