Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own both automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and quickly diagnose failures.

You’ll collaborate with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure robust quality across new features and platforms. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO + Appium, and familiarity

Formación

4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real devices.
Experience using AI tools in QA and reviewing their output.

Responsabilidades

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
