Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain tests, integrate into CI/CD pipelines, and analyze failures to improve quality.

Collaborate with developers, product teams, and customer-facing groups to ensure robust test coverage and reliable releases. Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on Playwright/WebdriverIO/Appium experience, and familiarity with Electron/React Native

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation and manual/exploratory testing.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, on real devices.
Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating their outputs.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report bugs clearly and work with developers on fixes and testability.
Collaborate with product and customer-facing teams to refine testing strategy and acceptance criteria.
Maintain regression suites and select manual vs automated coverage based on risk.
Participate in on-call rotations.
